As soon as I wake up I drink 2 Cups of Water. Then I eat an apple, because I’m usually famished.
Breakfast
- 1 slice of Ezekiel Bread
- 1 whole egg
Snack 1
- 10 Almonds & Small Fruit or 1 Slice of Ezekiel Bread
OR
- Greek Yogurt & Small Fruit
OR
-Whey Protein Shake** (1 Scoop + 1 Cup of Almond Milk**)
Lunch
-Salad with Protein (Tofu or Eggs)
- Yams (6 oz)
Snack 2
-Same options as Snack 1
Dinner
- 1 cup of vegetables
- 4 oz of protein (usually tofu/eggs/tempeh/fish)
I try not to eat before going to sleep but when I can’t i eat Greek Yogurt!
Starving is not the way to go ladies. Eating Clean and Consistently is key!
*Protein powder should be low in carbs & sugar
** Use a non-sweetened type of milk, skim milk may be used as a substitute
** Any source of lean protein may be used, I use mostly vegetarian types as I have trouble digesting meat.
DO NOT consume the processed fake vegetarian meat. It is crap, high in sodium, highly processed, and is not at all a healthy substitute for meat protein.
On days I don’t feel like eating Ezekiel bread I will pop my own popcorn and lightly salt it (1 Serving size = 3.5 cups) or eat oatmeal with blueberries.
The key to eating clean is to find meals YOU enjoy. Don’t deprive yourself, be creative, and make it fun. You will mess up sometimes, you may end up binging, but NEVER give up.
